- 7,700+ people displaced; families have lost homes, farmland, cattle, and belongings.
- Many are sheltering in schools and community halls with limited food and essentials.
- Urgent need for food support over the next 3–4 weeks as government aid tapers off.
Our Response – ANNADA Ration kit
- Each food kit provides 2 meals/day for a family of 4 for ~8 days.
- Includes a Marathi leaflet with instructions for safe storage and preparing nutritious meals.
- Distribution in collaboration with District Administration & local NGOs.
- Proven, scalable model – successfully implemented during past disaster relief efforts.
Impact & Need
- Immediate request for support to reach ~1000 families in Ghansawangi & nearby tehsils.
- Each kit ensures food security & nutrition in a time of crisis.
- As families begin to return to normalcy, the ANNADA Ration Kit helps them rebuild and settle back into their daily lives.
- Cost per kit includes food, logistics, distribution, manpower, reporting & coordination.
