As our journey nears 6 years of bringing the people of Mumbai a Bite So Good, we thought it was time to bring in a Bite of Goodness as well.
Covid has further complicated India's child malnutrition crisis.

1. Almost 1/3rd of the world's malnourished children are in India.
2. Nearly 40% of Indian children are undernourished.
3. Close to 9.2 Lakh children in India are severely malnourished
4. Less than 10% receive an adequate diet.

We decided to TAKE ACTION by partnering with ANNADA's Poshan Potli campaign.

The ANNADA POSHAN POTLI TM is an initiative to provide nutritious, energy-dense, fun and tasty meals for children at risk of malnutrition.
Each Poshan potli provides:

1. Two meals a day for 1 month
2. A variety of fun and tasty snacks
3. A booklet on nutrition, hygiene and Covid safety guidelines
4. A colouring book & crayons

Our goal is to nourish at least 1234 kids with the support of the Charcoal Eats community.

FEEDING CHILDREN
Team ANNADA has identified thousands of children at risk of malnutrition and will provide their Poshan Potlis to these children at their homes in urban and rural areas.
